Our founder, Karina, has spent her entire career working in community services, but her passion for better support started long before that.
Diagnosed as autistic as a young adult, Karina knows what it’s like to navigate a world that isn’t always built for neurodivergent people. That experience shaped everything she does—from advocating for better understanding to helping young people and families find support that actually works.
With over 20 years in the industry, Karina has worked across disability, mental health, and education, always pushing for real change. She’s trained thousands of educators, supported hundreds of families, and worked closely with NDIS participants to help them reach their goals.
But more than anything, she’s built Brick by Brick to be the kind of support she wishes had existed when she was younger—personalised, flexible, and designed by people who truly get it.
We’ve spent years creating real change in the disability space.
From hands-on disability support to educating professionals, our work has always been about one thing—better outcomes for young people.
With a team that knows the system inside out and lived experience to back it up, we’re here to make support simple, effective, and built to last.
